Jaago Tareenjan Group, a group of transgender performers, was formed in 2007-2008 by dance guru, Noor Zora. The group, now led by Sonia Duggal, regularly perform across India.

Jaago Tareenjan Group was invited to inaugurate the last day of Guru Gaurav event on January 5, 2017, the 350th birth day of Sahib Sri Guru Gobind Singh Maharaj. Sonia Duggal and her colleagues Preeti, Mehndhi, Reet Chauhan, Anmol, Guri Hira, Alisha, Monika, Heena Chauhan, Lucky Walia and Rajinder Pal performed Dhaarmik Giddha. The compositions particularly chosen for dance by the group included bols like Hareya-hareya-hareya, ji ajj din bhaggān wala chadheya, Na kahoon abb ki – na kahoon tabb ki, je na hounde Guru Gobind Singh, te sunnat houndi sab ki.
