Bibi Ashupreet Kaur was blessed to begin her instruction in classical vocal music under Sri Om Prakash Thapar of Jalandar at a tender age and at six to become the youngest artist to perform at Harivallabh Sangeet Sammelan. Currently, she receives advanced taleem in Khayāl Gāyaki under Vidushi Dr. Ashwini Bhide Deshpande of the Jaipur-Atrauli Gharāna.          

Bibi Ashupreet Kaur is a lecturer in vocal music at Jalandhar’s Kanya Maha Vidayala and an approved B-High Grade Artist at All India Radio, Jalandhar in both Gurbani Kīrtan and classical vocal music. In 2010, Bibi Ashupreet Kaur was awarded the title of “Naaz Dhiyān Te” by the Dainik Jagran Parkashan.
