Archival Event Record
Gurū Gaurav 350 was a six-day commemorative festival presented in Patna, Bihar, in connection with the 350th Prakāś anniversary of Sāhib Srī Gurū Gobind Singh Ji.
The programme was curated by The Anād Foundation in partnership with the Government of Bihar and brought together musicians, poets, scholars, performers, and tradition-bearers in tribute to the life, legacy, and civilisational presence of the tenth Sikh Gurū.
For legal, statutory, banking, tax, audit, CSR, and formal institutional purposes, the Foundation’s legal name is The Anad Foundation. The form Anād is used as the Foundation’s preferred cultural, scholarly, programme, publication, and public-facing style.
Context
The people of Bihar hold a special place in Sikh and South Asian memory as custodians of Takhat Srī Patna Sāhib, the birthplace of Sāhib Srī Gurū Gobind Singh Ji.
Gurū Gobind Singh Ji’s life brought together spiritual authority, poetic genius, martial responsibility, intellectual vision, social reorganisation, literary creation, musical and cultural depth, and extraordinary sacrifice. His contribution to the defence of dignity, freedom, courage, and religious-cultural plurality continues to inspire communities across the world.
Gurū Gaurav 350 was conceived as a commemorative offering to this legacy.
