In May 2006, Bhai Baldeep Singh visited the Qila Sarai for the first time. This venue was suggested by a former Sub-divisional Magistrate of Sultanpur Lodhi, who was the Deputy Commissioner, Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh), when Bhai Baldeep Singh had sung at the inauguration of the Kalidas Festival at Ujjain in 2006.
